Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

  • Account info

    Email address, authentication data (via Supabase Auth).

  • Pet profile info

    Whatever you enter about your pet(s) — species, breed, age, health notes, photos you upload, etc.

  • Payment info

    Handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded, not your card details.

  • Usage data

    Basic technical logs (e.g., errors, page loads) for reliability and debugging.

  • Cookies

    See our Cookie Policy.

2. How We Use It

  • To generate your pet's Care Snapshot and Blueprint (sent to Anthropic's Claude API as part of generation).

  • To process payments (via Stripe).

  • To maintain your account and let you log back in and access your Blueprint later.

  • To fix bugs and improve the Service.

3. Who We Share It With

We don't sell your data. We share only what's necessary to run the Service:

  • Supabase

    Hosts your account and pet profile data, with row-level security so other users can't see your data.

  • Stripe

    Processes payments.

  • Anthropic (Claude API)

    Processes your pet's profile data to generate Blueprint content. We do not use your pet's data to train publicly available AI models.

  • Vercel

    Hosts the application itself.

We do not use AI to make legally significant decisions about you — Blueprint content is informational guidance for you to act on, not an automated decision that affects your rights or access to services.

4. Data Retention

Your account and pet profile data are retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

5. Security

We use industry-standard practices (encrypted connections, database-level access controls via Supabase Row-Level Security) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You can request the following by emailing support@mypetcareai.com:

  • Access to the personal and pet data we hold about you

  • Correction of inaccurate data

  • Deletion of your account and data

  • A copy of your data (data portability)

  • Withdrawal of consent for marketing communications, if any

7. Children's Privacy

MyPetCareAI is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
